Probably many at some point in their lives assessed, analyzed the past, drew conclusions and, perhaps, shared them with others. Once upon a time I said something wrong, did or didn’t do something, in general, I forced myself to rethink the past. Today I want to share with you thoughts that somehow formed in my mind by chance, absolutely, just fell from the sky and I accepted them. A couple of weeks ago, sitting in lesson 6 (oh yes, I almost forgot to mention that your humble servant is a lvl 11 student) and, as always, desperately trying to enter nirvana and pass out right in the middle of class, I, without wanting to, still delved into the topic of the lesson. The lesson was Russian, and on the agenda was an analysis of another essay by some critic, I don’t remember. The question posed by the author of this text was: “What does honor mean for a modern person??». Not the point. The main thing that my inner voice asked me at that moment was: “What is morality??». And that’s what we’ll be talking about, actually.
I have heard this pathetic phrase many times: “Who gave you the right to take someone else’s life??». You’ve probably heard it too? So, who gave him the right to this life?? What kind of creature is this, which scatters rights, thereby, apparently, elevating itself above others?? God? Devil? Maybe a constitution? Yes it’s possible. This is written on paper, which, as you know, cannot be carved with an ax. Or you can? Why do we, citizens of democratic states, allow our freedom to be limited by laws, rights and other similar things?? To protect yourself? From what? From people like me? Are you really not capable of standing up for yourself?? Still incapable? Then you will be defeated, and the penalty for your defeat is death. “Survival of the fittest” is the same cliched phrase often found in books and films. And that’s true. Our whole life is a continuous struggle for survival. In ancient times, it was without rules and the fittest and strongest individuals survived. Now it’s like karate, fencing is a game with rules that prohibit finishing off your opponent. But he’s a burden. He interferes, he is an obstacle on the way to your goal. Why do we deliberately impose on ourselves a morality that will hinder us and give a second chance to our opponent?? Relatives again. You know, there is a river trout that, after spawning, swims into the sea to die, because it has fulfilled its purpose. Now this will sound blasphemous, but why, when you have grown up and become established in life, your relatives, or rather your mother and father, do not die?? They are exactly the same burden for you. They fulfilled their parental duty, right?? And also you, who have already become fathers and mothers and raised your child, why don’t you go to another world?? In fact, this is an ideal model of humanity, when only the strongest and ideal people, and maybe even superhumans, breed and live in the world. What holds us back? Morality. “You can’t do this, it’s bad, it’s not human”. Only this. At the same time, no matter how they try to unify it so that it is the same for everyone, it remains unique for everyone, ideal and unique only for themselves. You can’t hammer into a person that killing another person is bad. He must understand and realize this himself or not understand and not realize. Everyone determines for themselves what is bad and what is good. And from this a common “shield” is formed – morality. Be that as it may, a person should not give a reason to limit himself. He is. And he only does what he thinks is right. And everything else: religion, state, some kind of authority, just a unifying form of morality for those who either have not yet developed it for themselves, or have not been able to and, in a herd mentality, trudge along with others like them. The rest, in my opinion, are truly free. Free spiritually first of all for yourself. Maybe when we all become free, there will be an ideal humanity?

In principle, the topic is viable – an outside view of the structure of society is characteristic of any living mind. But let’s understand better.

Compensating for physical weakness, a person was able to coordinate the actions of individuals in a flock – some hunt, others watch over the offspring, others share experience. If there is no connection between generations, then the degradation of society will occur for one simple reason – each generation will make the same mistakes, butt heads with the rake that they themselves left on the road. Only communication between generations can support development. Neither “holy scripture” nor other written codes of law will have any weight within a generation. There will be no one to explain the meaning of norms of behavior in case of double interpretation, which occurs all the time. This is the principle of continuity of generations. The only thing you need to learn is that you can’t mark time, you need to move (re-read “Fathers and Sons” by Turgenev).
However, moral issues are the only thing that distinguishes us from animals. Morality was originally transmitted through religious dogma. However, then the religious doctrines were overgrown with tons of leftist slag, such as the ban on eating pork, the taboo on working on the Sabbath and worshiping the remains of the dead (the list can be continued as long as you like).
