Hello StopGame! Somewhere in February I published a blog in which I showed what came out of the application I created for SG. So, since then I haven’t abandoned it, but continued to improve it little by little, in my free time from idleness. And I want to not only share all the innovations, but also let you personally experience what came out of it. A kind of PTA. How to take part at the end.

The main major innovations are blogs and comments on all materials. Yes, there is a smoking room too, although scrolling through this miracle will drive you crazy.
Blogs are divided into two sections, “Best” and “All”. In addition, I added a Live section with recordings of broadcasts and a link to the schedule.

You can also “log in”, this will not give you the opportunity to leave comments, but you can admire your nickname, avatar and of course your rating. Just enter the name from the user page.

Feel like an editor-in-chief in three simple steps:

Added a full gallery. Pictures can be rotated, zoomed, saved. During streams on the main page, this will also be displayed in the application. You can share links to articles and news on VK and Facebook.* Search got rid of unnecessary, in my opinion, sections of codes, comments and people (read: I was too lazy to do them). External links now open in a separate window, those that lead to sg open like other articles.

From what is not implemented: display of gifs, articles with walkthroughs, file downloads, pages with screenshots, a page with a description of the game, user profiles. There are probably other things I forgot about or never used on the site.

I recommend iPhone 5 (and later) with iOS 9.0 (and older). In principle, it can work on 4K with iOS 8, but there is a visual bug with spoilers. This has been fixed in new versions of iOS, but I decided to leave compatibility with 8.

You will need to install the TestFlight application. Apple’s official application testing app. Where you will need to enter the code from the letter and from there you can download xpSGTest. And that’s it, you can start using it.

I think that “underlining” the buttons at the top is not very aesthetically pleasing. You can push into the options the ability to enable the button outline as in iOS, for example, for krivor blind like me, but definitely not an underscore

Unfortunately there’s nothing you can do about it. Pictures are taken from the main site and for streams they are only in this poor quality (the same applies to avatars in comments). Where possible are higher resolution images taken?.

That’s actually how it was intended. Images start loading right before they appear. This way, nothing unnecessary is loaded that may not be displayed on the screen.

Mm… I don’t really understand. On the site, answers are marked with a symbol and the entire symbol is shifted to the right (and so on a maximum of 8 times). In the mobile version, there is not enough space on the screen to move everything to the side.
I made it so that the level/depth of the answer is displayed only by the number of characters near the avatar (also up to 8).

Launched on SE with iOS 11.

If you go to the main page, the latest streams will be displayed in the “Stopgame LIVE” bar. Previews of these streams are in low resolution, the captions are difficult to read. The images that users leave and the news itself are loaded on the go, and this catches the eye. Replies to comments are not displayed correctly everywhere yet – they look like regular ones, not replies. Otherwise, everything works as it should, quickly, does not crash.

And when will it be possible to pre-order?? I want to access the feed!

Hmm… In principle, yes, the telephone version should start. But I don’t even know what it will look like, I haven’t tried running it on a tablet.
